Steinway artist Kelly Green is an award winning pianist, vocalist, and composer known for her rare ability to accompany herself with both the precision of a master pianist and the warmth of a gifted vocalist. She leads her ensembles through a widely diverse repertoire, showcasing emotionally potent, genre-defying original music seamlessly woven with reimagined works by Mulgrew Miller, Duke Ellington, and selections from the Blossom Dearie songbook and Jazz canon. Green draws listeners in with an alluring presence, making each performance both deeply personal and universally resonant. Her recordings have earned critical acclaim, with Corner of My Dreams described as “one of the best Jazz vocal albums of the year” (Marc Meyers, Jazz Wax). For this very special concert Green will be performing selections from her latest critically acclaimed album Eat Your Greens with her long-standing, world-class quartet featuring Elijah J. Thomas on flutes, Evan Hyde on drums and Luca Soul Rosenfeld on the upright bass.
