Sheryl Bailey is an internationally acclaimed jazz guitarist, composer, recording artist, and educator whose dynamic artistry has earned praise from DownBeat magazine as "one of the new greats of her chosen instrument." As a bandleader, she has toured extensively throughout North America, Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, and the United Kingdom with projects including the Sheryl Bailey 3, the SBQ, Taurus Power, The Electric Ladyland Project, and Plucky Strum. Bailey has released twelve critically acclaimed albums as a leader, with her next recording, "Renewal", scheduled for release on Cellar Live in 2027. She's also been a side-person with Anat Cohen, Jerry Bergonzi, George Garzone, Rufus Reid and more.

She is also a longtime Professor of Guitar and Assistant Chair of the Guitar Department at Berklee College of Music.
